Energy Express is an initiative to deliver energy
efficiency upgrades and lifestyle changes to European households. This will be
achieved by delivering site-optimised efficiency upgrades with minimal
disruption to home occupants.
Our
objectives include removing economic, attitudinal and other obstacles to
the implementation of affordable energy-efficient technologies and
complementary social behaviours in the residential sector; reducing residential
energy consumption and associated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions; and adding
social value by increasing public awareness of efficient energy technologies
and practices in the home, including the promotion of energy-efficient habits
for reducing household energy consumption and, thereby, GHG emissions.
